Prof Ofira Einstein Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences Ariel University CV Excerpt: Ofira Einstein is an Associate Professor in Neurobiology. She holds a Bachelor of Physical Therapy (B.P.T.) from Tel-Aviv University and a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences. In 2009 she was appointed as a faculty member at the Physical Therapy Department in Ariel University and served as the Department Chair from 2011 to 2017 and from 2020 to 2022. Prof. Einstein’s main research area is neuroimmunology. She studied the biology of neural stem cells and various aspects of cell therapy for neurological diseases. He earned his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tel-Aviv University, with postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois. Joining Ben-Gurion University in 2004, he became Full Professor in 2015 and Dean of Natural Sciences in 2020. Lemcoff’s research covers organic chemistry, organometallics, catalysis, and polymer chemistry. He’s known for developing novel ruthenium catalysts for olefin metathesis and pioneering single-chain collapse of macromolecules using organometallic linkages. His group discovered light-activated catalysts, leading to applications in chromatic orthogonal sequences and photochemical syntheses. They also developed new 3D printing techniques for strong polymeric materials.
